Join the Friends of the Capitol Park Museum, for the Fonville Families’ Picnic in celebration of the exhibition A Colorful World in Black and White: Fonville Winans' Photographs of Louisiana. This event is from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and embraces Music, Food, Fun, &a Family Atmosphere!

Tickets include lawn games, museum access, heavy hors d’oeuvres brunch and carving station, by Mestizo Catering, and a cash bar for beer, Bloody Mary’s and mimosas and more! Other event activities include crafts for kids, a photo area, face painting, and balloon art!

Starting in the 1930s, Fonville Winans recorded life in south Louisiana and the social life of Baton Rouge's families.
