Discovery Day: MLK Day

Come learn about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as well as the history of the Baton Rouge Civil Rights at Capitol Park Museum. Take a trip down memory lane with the McKinley High School Alumni Association which will provide a short history of McKinley High School. Come check out the short film Our Friend Martin while engaging in cool activities around Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Discovery Day offers fun for all ages—teachers, students, and parents. All are welcome on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
